Alla Bit 2012 di Milano il turismo ha riservato grandi sorprese e grandi assenze. Perugia e Assisi si candidano a capitali europee della cultura

Bit 2012. Si è conclusa con un bilancio non proprio positivo l’edizione 2012 di Borsa internazionale del turismo, appuntamento tradizionale della stagione fieristica milanese che sente la necessità di studiare, approfondire, conoscere e sviluppare il mercato del turismo, grazie ad un incontro di regioni, associazioni, aziende e promotori turistici e possibili clienti.

Ma tra crisi economica e crisi politica, questa edizione non è andata proprio come si sperava inizialmente. Il numero di presenze è diminuito dell’11% rispetto allo scorso anno, contando in totale 90.000 spettatori tra cui 54 mila 600 operatori professionali e 35 mila 200 viaggiatori. Ma cosa vogliono i viaggiatori di quest’anno? Scoprire nuove mete, scegliere città minori, sperdute e sconosciute e preferirle a città d’arte famose o a città sole e mare.

Tra le grandi sorprese piacevoli ci sono Perugia e Assisi. Con l’evento ‘Umbria, terra che produce cultura’ è stato presentato al mondo ‘Perugiassisi2019’, ovvero la candidatura congiunta delle due città umbre a capitali europee della cultura. Anche la Puglia conquista gli spettatori, si presenta sempre più ‘in’ e propone un viaggio esperienziale tra tradizione e modernità, assicurando a chi la visita mare, natura, enogastronomia tipica, arte e cultura, sport e benessere, eventi interessanti, business e luoghi in cui curare lo spirito.

Quest’anno all’edizione 2012 della Bit assenti il Molise, l’Abruzzo, la Sicilia e la Valle d’Aosta, che hanno rinunciato a mostrare le bellezze della loro terra alla Borsa internazionale del turismo.
